Jack Forman is so happy to share that he has been admitted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to receive his Ph.D. at the MIT Media Lab. He plans to continue studying under Prof. Hiroshi Ishii (Director of the Tangible Media Group) and will be co-advised by Prof. Neil Gershenfeld (Director of the Center of Bits and Atoms). He is beyond excited for what these next four years entail.
Jack writes that he is “extremely thankful to so many people: His family for their unconditional support, his friends and teachers from Dwight-Englewood School, his professors from Carnegie Mellon University who cultivated him as an engineer, and his friends who helped me get through it, and everyone else he encountered along the way. He will be studying programmable “smart” materials, ways to fabricate them (3D printing, etc.), and their design implications.”
Congratulations Jack!
