Members of the Class of ’83 gathered to watch Super Bowl LVII. This annual tradition began in 1991 in the home of the Mikelis family, when Demetri Mikelis’ mom would cook and continues today. Pictured from left to right are Chris Lopiano, Demetri Mikelis, David Glasser, Phil Shih, Dan Dubelman, Mark Frentzel, and Steve Mikelis ’78. Missing from the photo is Jon Achar who is an original member of the group along with Mikelis, LoPiano, Frentzel and Glasser.

We also learned from David Glasser that D-E alumni regularly meet up for racing at the Meadowlands racetrack on Fridays. On Friday, February 10, 2023, David Yarock ’73 and David Glasser finished second and third in the first race after battling down the stretch. Neil Glasser ’87 drove in two races later that night. Two Fridays earlier, the Glasser Brothers battled down the stretch in the first race and finished first and second in a win photo won by Neil. Usually, at least one of them is racing, and often all three.
