We learned of the passing of Victoria (“Vicky”) Eltinge Johnson from Betsey Taft Colby, Dwight ’63 who shared the following:
“Victoria (“Vicky”) Eltinge Johnson passed away on November 25, 2022. She had spent most of her adult life in Brooklyn where she ran her own successful landscaping business, Victoria Gardens, for many years. Several decades ago, she and her husband Jerry built a lovely vacation home in Upper Delaware, right across the river from the town of Callicoon, NY, and she enjoyed many times there. Jerry passed away a number of years ago, and Vicky finally decided to sell their home in Brooklyn and move full-time to Callicoon. In addition to Jerry, Vicky was pre-deceased by her parents and her sister Cathy. She is survived by her children, Jack and Kate, two grandsons, her brother Charles Robert (“Robin”) Eltinge and a host of devoted friends. She will be sorely missed by all.”
