Alexis Turpan Delaney passed away this past November.

The Dwight-Englewood School recently learned of the passing of Alexis Turpan Delaney D’66 on November 25, 2019.

The mother of Heather Delaney ’95, James Delaney ’96, and Irene Delaney. Alexis was also the sister of Hilary Turpan Cosgriff Dwight ’67 and the sister-in-law of ESB alumnus Scott Cosgriff ESB ’67.

The following is an excerpt from her obituary:
“Delaney, Alexis, of Englewood, NJ, passed away on November 25, 2019. Loving daughter of Harry and Irene Turpan. Devoted mother of Heather, James, and Irene. Caring sister to Hilary and Sandy Turpan. Friend to many, including her special lifelong friend and former husband, Patrick Delaney. Doting grandmother to Hannah, Max, Olivia, Ryan, and Brooke. Elegant and compassionate, she brought joy, humor, and happiness to all that knew her. A true angel, Alexis spent her life giving to others. Her magic and love will live on.”

Become a part of the class leadership team that works in partnership with the Alumni Relations Committee and Alumni Relations team throughout the year to promote class engagement and financial support for the School. Class Captains and Representatives (Reps) work with each other to plan milestone Reunion celebrations, share news and updates about classmates and the School, and inspire gifts to the Annual Fund.

We are looking for multiple members of each class to become a Class Captain or Rep and share the responsibilities!
