Illana Post Raia was featured in an article published by Forbes on January 11, 2023, entitled, “Career Mentorship Stops Confidence Slide for Teen Girls, Study Finds.” The article highlights the results of a national survey commissioned by Être Girls, where Illana is the founder and CEO, in partnership with YPulse. The survey was given to 1,000+ girls between ages 13 to 18 and focused on “exploring and understanding the current state of next gen girls’ confidence levels and the impact it has on their emotional lives.” Illana is quoted throughout the article talking about the importance of mentorship and its impact during the early teen years. Also quoted in the article is D-E Upper School student Ava Liu ’24, daughter of James Liu ’87 and a member of the D-E Upper School (US) women and girl’s empowerment Club Être, about a company visit to TikTok in January. In February, the D-E US Club Être joined Illana for a tour of NASDAQ, a Q&A with a NASDAQ executive, and had a chance to ring the closing bell!

Become a part of the class leadership team that works in partnership with the Alumni Relations Committee and Alumni Relations team throughout the year to promote class engagement and financial support for the School. Class Captains and Representatives (Reps) work with each other to plan milestone Reunion celebrations, share news and updates about classmates and the School, and inspire gifts to the Annual Fund.

We are looking for multiple members of each class to become a Class Captain or Rep and share the responsibilities!
